Grant Thornton Consulting invites applications from qualified individuals for the positions of Chief Financial Officer and Head of HR based in Islamabad as per the following requirements.
1 Chief Financial Officer reporting to CEO
Qualifications: Must be a Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant. Certified Management Accountant or MBA Finance or Accounting from an internationally recognized university.
Experience: Must have at least 10 years of experience in the financial sector, of which 5 years of experience in leading teams at senior management level
Age: 35 years or more.
Key areas of responsibilities:
Overall in-charge for finance, accounts and taxation matters including development of financial plans and budget. Should be able to manage company's risk profile and arrange funds from other financial institutions. Ensure effective internal controls for disbursements, repayment and other functions of finance and accounts unit as well as manage internal and external audits. Engage with key stakeholders including senior management, financial institutions, external auditors, clients etc. The candidate should be able to work with the management committee and board of directors.
2 Head of HR - reporting to CEO
Qualifications: Must be Masters with specialization in HR from HEC or internationally recognized university. HR certification and membership of a reputable professional body will be an added advantage.
1. Experience: Must have at least 10 years of experience in the corporate environment, of which 5 years at senior management position.
2. Age: 35 years or more.
3. Key areas of responsibilities: Overall in-charge for Human Resources Unit including development and management of HR policies and procedures in line with corporate best practices. Also responsible for company's strategic HR including formulation of HR plans and budget, alignment of mission, vision, and goals with organization structure and job roles. Should have hands-on experience of developing and managing HRIS and ability to carry out employee satisfaction surveys. As an HR lead, candidate should have the ability to lead HR Committee of the Board as a Secretary.
