Job Description

Applications are invited from Pakistani citizens for the following positions on permanent and contract basis. Islamia College, Peshawar has launched online job portal for convenience of the applicants on www.icp.edu.pk/jobs.

Sr.No.1: Registrar (BPS-20) (on term basis, initially for a period of 03 years and may be renewed from time to time).
No.of Post: 01
Qualification / Experience: Master's Degree with 18 years teaching/ administrative experience in a University/institute in Lecturer's scale and above or 18 years class-1 service in administration under the Government/Autonomous /Semiautonomous body.

Sr.No.2: Treasurer (BPS-19) (on term basis, initially for a period of 03 years and may be renewed from time to time).
No.of Post: 01
Qualification / Experience: First Class M.Com/M.B.A. Chartered Accountant or equivalent or higher qualification with 13 years service in BPS-17 or above in the relevant field. Or Second Class M.Com/M.B.A. Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification with 18 years service in BPS-16 and above in the relevant field.

Sr.No.3: Controller of Examinations(BPS- 20) (on term basis, initially for a period of 03 years and may be renewed from time to time)
No.of Post: 01
Qualification / Experience: Master's Degree with 18 years services in the university in teaching or administration in lecturer's scale and above. Knowledge of conducting examinations in a senior position will be given preference.

Sr.No.4: Administrative Officer (BPS- 18) (Permanent)
No.of Post: 01
Qualification / Experience: First Class Master's degree/ LL.B with 06 Years Teaching/ Administrative experience in the relevant field. Or Second Class Master's degree/LL.B with 10 years experience in the relevant field in a University. Or Graduate ex-servicemen of the equivalent grade/rank with 15 years experience.

Sr.No.5: Internal Auditor / Audit Officer (BPS-18) (Contract) (on term basis, initially for a period of 03 years and may be renewed from time to time)
No.of Post: 01
Qualification / Experience: First Class M.Com/MBA or equivalent qualification with 6 years experience in BPS- 17 in the relevant field. Or Second Class M.Com/MBA or equivalent qualification with 10 years experience in BPS-17 in the relevant field. Or Chartered Accountant /Cost and Management Accountant with 06 years experience in the relevant field.

Sr.No.6: Assistant Director of Physical Education/Sports (BPS-17) (Permanent)
No.of Post: 01
Qualification / Experience: First Class M.Sc in Physical Education. Or Second Class Masters in Physical Education with 03 years experience. Or Second Class Bachelor degree with 05 years experience in Organizing/Coaching Major Games.

Sr.No.7: Assistant Provost (BPS-17) (Permanent)
No.of Post: 01
Qualification / Experience: First Class Master's Degree / LL.B Or Second Class Master's Degree with 05 years experience in the relevant field in a University Or Master Degree / LL.B with 12 years experience in the relevant field in a University OR Graduate with 20 years experience in the relevant field in a University.

Sr.No.8: Assistant Registrar (QEC) (BPS-17) (Permanent)
No.of Post: 01
Qualification / Experience: First Class Master's Degree / LL.B Or Second Class Master's Degree with 05 years experience in relevant field in a University or Master's Degree/LL.B with 12 years experience in the relevant field in a University or Graduate with 20 years experience in the relevant field in a University.

Appointments against Administrative Position for serial No. 1,2,3 & 5 will be made as per Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities (Amended) Act 2015.
Information/ Terms & Conditions:
1. Application forms along-with a recent passport size photograph and attested copies of educational testimonials, experience certificates and a copy of National Identity Card (NADRA) with a bank receipt should reach the office of the Assistant Registrar (Meetings) by or before 6th November, 2015.
2. Deposit of Rs.2000/-(non-refundable) for BPS-19 & 20 & Rs.1000/- (non-refundable) for BPS-17 & 18 at any UBL online branch in account No.205463536 Titled: Annual Examination Fee (Bank receipt attached with online printed form).
3. In-service candidates should apply through proper channel. They must submit No Objection Certificate from their concerned department/institution along with the application form.
4. Incomplete applications and those received after due date, will not be entertained.
5. CGPA less than 3/4 with will be considered second division.
i. In case of foreign degree, the applicant must produce HEC Equivalent Certificate within one month after submission of application form.
Those who have already applied for the post of Treasurer advertised on 08th June, 2013 need not to apply again but can update their application,
Errors, omissions, if any, are liable to rectification by the University. The competent authority reserves the right to increase/decrease/cancel the post/number of post(s).
