Job Description

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) is established as an autonomous body under Chartered Accountants 1961 (the Ordinance).

ICAP strives to promote professional excellence to its stakeholders and safeguard public interest.Moving ahead in this direction ,ICAP is looking to induct bright and energetic individuals for following positions:

Sr No 1. Senior Manager-Corporate and Membership Affairs-Karachi
The candidate will be responsible for handling matters related to corporate and membership affairs of the institute.

The candidate will be required to provide support in keeping effective and efficient liaison with regulatory bodies.

He/She will also be required to provide assistance in Secretarial and or similar matters related to council and other committees of the Institute.
The candidate will report to Executive Director Corporate Legal and Membership Affairs.
The ideal candidate should preferably be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with at last 3-4 years of working experience in a CA firm or industry experience.

Sr No 2. Assistant Manager-Investigation-Karachi
This position is responsible to assist the Manager in matters related to investigation cases.
The ideal candidate should be a CA part qualified or MBA (Finance) from HEC recognized university with at least 2-3 years working experience in relevant area and have practical knowledge of Corporate Laws.
The candidate should have excellent communication and report writing skills.

Sr No 3. Assistant Manager-Human Resources & Administration-Karachi
The candidate will be responsible to execute the human resource functions such as capital management, training & development, salary and compensation, activities related to employee engagement and HR special projects or assignments which will lead to organizational development.

The candidate will also be responsible to handle administrative activities such as to oversee store inventory, responsible for fleet management and security related matters.
The ideal candidate should be MBA in Human Resource Management from a HEC recognized university with 4-5 years of experience in Human resources and administration field of management.
The candidate should also have excellent communication and organizational skills.Preference will be given to those who have worked in armed forces and in industry.

Sr No 4. Assistant Manager Education & Training-Lahore

The candidate will be responsible for assisting in matters related to education & training.The candidate will be required to assist in monitoring compliance with various education & training policies of the Institute.

The candidate should be a CA finalist / MBA or Masters from a HEC recognized university/ institute with 2-3 years of experience.Candidates with experience in educational sector will be given preference.

Sr No 5.Senior Officer Education and Training-Karachi

The candidate will be responsible to assist the Senior Manager in due process of coordination with the developers and printers of study packs, quality review , content development, feedback management, revision and updates in the syllabus, learning outcomes, study material and implementation of the overall education schemes.

Further the candidate will assist in the compliance review of International Education Standards (IESs) as issued by International Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB).
The candidate must be MBA or Masters in relevant discipline from HEC recognized well reputed University/ Institute with 3-4 years of experience in handling education related matters along with the ability to communicate effectively.

Sr No 6. IT Officer-Lahore
The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining computer systems and other IT peripherals Installation and configuration of new hardware and software, network support and problems solutions.
Respond user support calls within agreed timelines.Ensure completion of tasks within defined timelines.

The candidate must be graduate or Diploma holder in IT from a reputable institute along with 1 to 2 years working experience having knowledge of Audio and Video Conferencing.
Skills Required: Windows XP/7, MS Office 2007/2010 and antivirus.

Sr No 7. Officers- Karachi (3 Positions)
The candidate will be responsible for assisting in matters related to conduct of examination.The candidate should have a Masters Degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Economics/English Literature from a reputed university.Knowledge of Information Systems and Computer hardware will be an added advantage.
